 Rasna
is the name of the Etruscan population that 3000 years ago lived
in Tuscany. Even if they where a rather mysterious civilization
we know thanks to the bounty of paintings they left behind that
they loved life: they dressed in very colourful clothes, wore the
most beautiful intricate jewelry, enjoyed eating, drinking and
sunbathing under the Tuscan sun.
After 2000 years of domination in central Italy they were gradually
absorbed by the Roman empire and thus lost their identity. We like
to think that many of the great Renaissance artists of Tuscany such
as Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci among the hundreds are their
natural descendants.
We know that Etruscans enjoyed olive oil,
this is the reason why we have decided to dedicate our exclusive
product to this beautiful ancient lost civilization.
