MY CHIANTI- A Day in the Life of Tuscan Author Dario Castagno

This new movie features Dario as himself, and his real-life neighbors that he encounters in the small Chianti village of Vagliagli. Filmed in only 3 days, most of the scenes are impromptu and unscripted, and even captures scenes in which the "actors" were unaware that the cameras were still rolling! The documentary-style movie illustrates a "day in the life" of the author after having just returned from a 3-month long book tour in the U.S.

It introduces viewers to a colorful array of local characters, each with their own unique stories to tell, breathtaking panoramas from the author's real-life home, and an intimate "walking tour" through the memories and locations dearest to Castagno's heart. Spend A Day in Tuscany and experience the simple life in the enchanting hills of Chianti. Narrated in English by Castagno himself the film also features authentic Italian dialog (subtitled) and includes some passages from his new book, Too Much Tuscan Wine, due out in April 2008.
